According to the statistics of the Ministry of the Interior, end of December 2019, more than 3,000 immigrants naturalized R.O.C. nationals, including 14 special contributors to R.O.C., 54 High-Level professionals, 2,960 foreign spouses, 98volunteers, 147 minors, 43 who suffered domestic violence or are widowed, 105 who raise their minors that possess R.O.C. nationality.
In order to welcome the immigrants to naturalized become R.O.C. nationals, and to enhance their cohesio n to R.O.C., the Ministry of the Interior held a naturalization ceremony duringthe Immigration Festival on December 8, 2019. We invited 10 representatives of naturalized nationals, including special contributors to R.O.C., High-Level professionals and general naturalized persons, and Chen Tsung-Yen, the Political Deputy Minister of MOI, conferred them the Certificate of Naturalization in personally, to express our gratitude and welcome to those who have naturalized R.O.C..
Naturalized nationals will have the right to participate in politics and enjoy various social welfare guarantees. In the future, more foreigners are welcome to apply for naturalization as Taiwanese and work together for the land of Taiwan.
